MSE Meili has been awarded the contract to deliver Labasys® Control Ex ‘Bulk-Flow' measuring systems for CSPC’s new 500 kiloton per year (KTA) polypropylene line located in Huizhou, Guangdong, P.R. of China.
CSPC has selected LyondellBasell’s Spherizone technology for the new PP line at the Huizhou site. The PP line is part of the suite of downstream derivatives units under CSPC’s “Phase 3” expansion of its petrochemical capacity in Daya Bay / Huizhou. The PP line as well as the completion of full «Phase 3» expansion is scheduled to complete in 2028.
LyondellBasell’s Spherizone process is one of the newest and most advanced PP-technologies. Unlike other PP process technologies it also allows for the production of entirely new families of propylene-based polymers using its unique multi-zone circulating reactor system.
MSE Meili's ‘Labasys ® Control Ex ‘Bulk-Flow' measuring systems will be used to measure in-line the recirculation rate of the polymer material in the Spherizone multi-zone circulating reactor (MZCR).
